ACCOMMODATION
Jack and Matilda will be staying at Paramount House Hotel and would love to have you there with them if possible. If you plan on staying elsewhere in Sydney, it is recommended to book in either the CBD, Paddington or Surry Hills, all of which are roughly 10 minutes or less from the restaurant.

 TRANSPORT TO GILDAS
Arriving on your own is just no fun. While Jack and Matilda say their I do’s, jump onboard our organised transport (the nuptial express) and travel together for a sunset cocktail nearby and then to Gilda’s, Surry Hills for the evening. Your pickup location and time will be confirmed closer to the date.

IS IT A WEDDING CEREMONY?

In short, no. The couple are privately eloping earlier in the day and will then meet each of you at Gildas to celebrate. While they’d love to involve everyone at the ceremony, this family is bloody huge and Jack’s allergic to public speaking. A private affair feels right.

THE NIGHT BEFORE
For those already in Sydney, please come along with the bride and groom to share a few pre-wedding drinks and dinner the night before. Location TBD.

YOUNG CHILDREN
The evening is asked to please be child free, while we understand this can at times be tricky, your understanding is appreciated as the restaurant is privately booked to capacity.

GIFTS
Your presence is the best gift of all and all that is asked. However, should you wish to pass on a gift, there will be a wishing well present on the evening.

PARKING & TRANSPORT
Overnight parking is close by and can be booked via wilsonparking.com.au. Pre-booking is recommended as it has been advised that they do fill on a Saturday evening.

If you intend on coming via train, the closest station is Town Hall or alternatively jump off at Central and an uber is no more than 5 minutes.
